The Pearls Network To Celebrate International Women's Day With A Hot Topic Debate: 'MISS SUBMISSIVE Vs MISS INDEPENDENT


The United Nations began celebrating International Women’s Day (IWD) on 8 March during International Women’s Year 1975. Two years later, in December 1977, the General Assembly adopted a resolution proclaiming a United Nations Day for Women’s Rights and International Peace to be observed on any day of the year by Member States, in accordance with their historical and national traditions



To this end Pearls Network bring to you an educative, entertaining and inspiring gathering of women from different works of life. 
Started in 2014, Beulah Marshall is passionate about empowering women across the nation through increased visibility, community, and resources.


Featuring a hot topic debate on 'MISS SUBMISSIVE Vs MISS INDEPENDENT: THE IDEAL STATUS OF THE AFRICAN WOMAN. 

According to the Convener Beullah Marshall Ononye , ”The event will feature panel discussions with female leaders, networking opportunities and many more. And, in true Pearls network runway fashion show, Red carpet reception, trivia, comedy and lots more. 

The event will take place at the Wellness Auditorium, Buffalo House Opebi roundabout Ikeja, Lagos on Sunday 13th March 2016, 2pm prompt
